What is the tracking number?

The "Tracking Number" is a tracking number assigned by JFI Express - Joe Cargo to a package or shipment when it is shipped. This number is usually unique and allows shippers, carriers and especially recipients (customer) to track and trace the movement of the shipment throughout its journey, from its shipment to its final delivery.

I want to import goods, I don't have a supplier

When customers do not have a supplier, JFI JOE CARGO offers assistance by finding an available supplier from its database or through its established networks. However, if no suitable supplier is available, the customer will then be asked to research and select their own supplier. This approach is to ensure that customers always have the best options available to meet their shipping and logistics needs.

What is a sensitive package?

A sensitive package, also known as a delicate package, is a package containing items that require special handling due to their delicate nature. These items may include electronics, certain musical instruments, pharmaceuticals, perishable or non-perishable food items, hazardous chemicals, cosmetics, and anything else that may emit vibrations or temperature variations during transport. Sensitive packages often require specialized packaging and careful handling by carriers to ensure that they arrive at their destination in perfect condition. NB: A sensitive package is not a fragile package. A fragile package is a product that is likely to be damaged when subjected to shock, such as glasses, eyeglasses, works of art, etc.

I want to pay my supplier

At Joe cargo, we understand the importance of making the payment process easy for our customers. That is why we offer the possibility to pay your supplier directly in our agencies respectively according to your location. This convenient option allows for centralized transactions. By opting for this payment method, you can make your payments securely and confidently, while benefiting from reliability and efficiency. It is always possible to pay your supplier yourself.

Are there any additional charges?

If it is the supplier we do not charge any additional fees but if it is the package we can charge the additional fees.

What to do in case of loss?

In the event of loss or problem (wrong package, missing package, etc.) occurring during the shipping or receipt of your shipment, we encourage you to immediately contact the branch manager in your locality. Our branch managers are there to assist you and find solutions to any problem you may encounter. They are authorized to handle claims and work with you to find an amicable arrangement that suits you. Your satisfaction and the rapid resolution of any incident are our priority at JFI Express. We thank you for your trust and your cooperation.

What is JFI Express's return policy?

If the customer notices any inconvenience on the package at the agency, JFI Express will take measures of repair or agreement between it and the customer. But if the customer notices the damage on his package after taking it home or with him, JFI Express will not take into account any responsibility on this package

What are the usual delivery times?

The usual times are 7 to 15 working days for normal packages, and 21 to 30 working days for sensitive packages. But they can vary depending on different conjectures encountered such as: Bad weather (climates), events in the country, departure timings, or even customs etc.; in this case JFI Express cannot do anything.

How can I track my order?

From JFI Express, private messages are sent to our customers with a tracking link that allows the customer to know that the merchandise has been received and the expected date to arrive at the destination. But also by a tracking number.

What payment methods are accepted?

At the moment we only accept cash payment.

Are there any discounts for bulky shipments?

Yes, we offer discounts especially for bulky packages weighing at least 100 kg in one shipment.

Which countries does JFI Express serve?

JFI express is served in 10 African countries which are: Cameroon, Gabon, Chad, Central African Republic, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Congo Brazzaville, Democratic Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Senegal.

How can I become a JFI Express partner?

To become a partner of JFI Express, please contact an agency manager.

How does the JFI Express groupage service work?

We do not provide groupage service.

Are there any restrictions on what items I can ship?

Importation into some African countries is subject to certain restrictions and regulations for various types of products. Here is a list of restricted, sensitive and fragile products: Restricted Import Products 1. Arms and Ammunition: Importation is strictly controlled and requires specific authorizations. 2. Pharmaceutical Products: Subject to strict regulations, requiring authorizations from the Ministry of Health. 3. Food Products: Certain foods, especially those that may present health risks, are regulated and may require health certifications. 4. Chemicals and Dangerous Substances: Require special authorizations and certifications to ensure that they do not represent a danger to health or the environment. 5. Counterfeit and Counterfeit Goods: Strictly prohibited. 6. Pornographic Material: Importation is prohibited. 7. Cultural and Historical Products: - Regulated to protect cultural heritage. What are the opening hours of JFI Express agencies?

Our opening hours: -> Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. -> Thursday: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. -> Saturday: 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. However, depending on specific events or an excess number of packages, we may work on public holidays and/or Sundays.

I need an invoice for my order, how can I get it?

From the JFI Express point of view You can obtain your invoice directly from one of our agencies near you through the agency's accounting From the Supplier's point of view Please ask the supplier to provide you with an invoice for your items

Are there any restrictions on the size or weight of packages shipped by JFI Express?

Maximum weight: no we have no restrictions Dimensions: the maximum length is approximately 2 meters, over 2 meters there are additional charges that may apply.

What is the difference between standard shipping and express shipping?

Standard Shipping: Ideal for non-urgent packages, with lower costs but longer delivery times (7-15 days). Express Shipping: Perfect for urgent or high-value shipments, with fast delivery times but higher costs (2-5 days). NB: Express shipping may face some issues beyond the control of the company Geographic Availability: Express service may not be available in all regions, especially in rural or remote areas. Risks of Dependence: Shippers may become dependent on express service for all their shipments, increasing operational costs in the long run. Complex Customs Issues: Even with express service, packages can be held up by customs, and customs clearance fees can be high. Departure Timing: Some departures are often delayed by hours or even days, which means that the shipping days are reduced.

Can I schedule a home parcel collection?

Yes, as long as the order is huge and intense.

How can I get an estimate of the shipping cost for my package?

You can get an estimate of the shipping costs of your package based on either the Kg of your package or the CBM of your package

Can I request weekend delivery?

Yes, you can request weekend delivery, but these deliveries must be made during working hours i.e. 8am to 2pm.

Are there specialized tracking services for sensitive shipments?

Yes, as long as you mention on your package that the package is a sensitive package, but otherwise we do not do it.

I forgot my tracking number, how can I retrieve it?

To retrieve your tracking number: At JFI Express:  Contact one of our China customer service numbers At the supplier: Contact your supplier and inform them of your problem

Can I arrange bulk shipping with JFI Express?

Yes, but it is better to do it through the Maritime Service, because the service is less expensive despite the waiting time.

What are the cases of reimbursement?

There can only be a refund if JFI Express finds that the package has gone astray after a long search or search, in the event of a package being damaged by us.

What are the refund processing times at JFI Express?

Step 1: Visit the nearest branch in your area to explain the problem. Step 2: Meet with a JFI Express manager or Branch Manager to discuss the situation. Step 3: JFI Express will cover 25% of the losses and maybe more in case JFI Express is the one causing the destruction or damage of the package.

Can I schedule delivery to a residential address?

Yes, it is possible to schedule a delivery to a residential address, to do this please go to one of our agencies near your location where you will fill out a location form and this will incur additional costs.

What is JFI Express's policy regarding unclaimed and uncollected packages?

In this specific case, we send messages, we call customers at each monthly inventory, or we communicate through our different platforms on social networks (Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, WhatsApp ...)

How can I change my customer account details at JFI Express?

To change your account details with us, please contact one of our branches closest to you and discuss your problem.

Are there express delivery options available for large packages?

In express shipments, the maximum volume is 32 kg for sensitive packages and for ordinary packages we do not accept bulky packages.
